STTT group sessions are not covered entities under HIPAA. However, we are committed to handling all health-related information you share with us with the highest standards of privacy, confidentiality, and care.

Somebody To Talk To SMS Notifications is a low-volume, non-marketing messaging program operated by Somebody To Talk To, Inc. Messages may include scheduling confirmations, session reminders, access or logistical information, schedule changes, follow-up notices, and responses to participant questions.

Recipients enroll voluntarily through direct communication with Somebody To Talk To staff. When enrollment occurs by email, staff provides the SMS disclosure and asks the recipient to reply “YES” to confirm consent. Providing a telephone number without an affirmative response does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages.

By affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Somebody To Talk To at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of participating in or receiving Somebody To Talk To services.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. After submitting STOP, you may receive a final confirmation message and will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
